An increase in cloudiness and some scattered showers are expected over the northern portion of the island chain, including Dominica, mainly during the morning as a trough system is expected to affect the area.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 to 48 hours, with waves peaking to 8.0ft along the northern and eastern coastlines. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for above normal seas. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution when venturing out to sea.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
