Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A trough system is expected to affect the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours. However, a relatively dry atmosphere can be expected to limit shower activity across the island today. An increase in cloudiness and shower activity can be expected from tonight and into the weekend.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking to 7.0ft, in eastern coastal waters. A further increase in wave heights to 8.0ft is expected by Saturday evening. Small craft operators and sea bathers on the eastern coast are advised to exercise some caution.
