A tropical wave will continue to affect the area today. Moisture and instability associated with this tropical wave are expected to continue to produce light to moderate showers and possible thunderstorms over the area. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides, and falling rocks are advised to continue to exercise caution. A gradual reduction in shower activity can be expected from tonight into tomorrow.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking at 8.0ft in eastern coastal waters.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 48 hours, with waves peaking at 8.0ft in eastern coastal waters.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
