Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A high-pressure system is dominant over most of the Lesser Antilles including Dominica resulting in breezy conditions. Low-level moisture within a north-easterly wind flow is likely to produce periods of cloudiness with some scattered showers across the area, during the next 24 to 48 hours.
Moderate to rough seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 10ft, along the north through the eastern coastline. A Small Craft Warning is in effect for above-normal seas. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should stay out of the water.
