UPDATE-Shooting in Grand Bay leaves one man dead

The police have confirmed a shooting incident in the Southern community of Grand Bay that has left one man from Campbell dead.

According to reports from the police, 28-year-old Mervin Bertrand was shot at about 9:30 pm at Lalay in Grand Bay.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
