National Women Senior team ready to face Suriname 

(Roseau, Dominica). The Dominica National Senior Women’s Team will face Suriname in their opening game in their Campaign in the Road to Concacaf W Gold Cup.

The Nature Ladies are in Group A of League B with Suriname, Guyana, and Antigua and Barbuda. 

They will play Suriname at home on Wednesday 20, and on September 24, they will play against the Guyana women’s team in Barbados. 

The Nature Ladies have been in training since June and are presently in camp leading up to Wednesday’s match. 

The team is captained by Romelcia Phillip who is no stranger to the captaincy and coached by Ronnie Gustave. There are two overseas-based players in the persons of Ronia Pierre-Louis and Celia Gregoire.

Regina Walsh sits in the manager’s chair while Rosilia Registe is the assistant coach and David Williams serves as the goalkeeper coach. Heathlene Wyke serves as medic and Duly Polydore as trainer. 

The match will kick off at 3:00 pm at the Windsor Park Stadium
