Not Guilty pleas at High Court opening

Uroy Vidal of St. Joseph will return to court on September 29, 2023, for case management in his matter before the High Court.

When the matter came up for hearing before Justice Colin Williams, Vidal a farmer from St. Joseph pleaded not guilty to the charge of Assault to prevent lawful apprehension.

The incident took place on October 17, 2016, in St. Joseph. His lawyer asked for his bail of $10,000.00 to be continued under the same terms and conditions and the court granted that.

In another matter, Rickey Joseph Harry pleaded not guilty to a Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) charge and unlawful wounding of Jimmy Underwood on May 7, 2020, at Salisbury.

He is to return to court on October 2, 2023. He is represented by Darius Jones. Jones asked the court for “time” to speak to his client since he was “not properly briefed.”
