The police in Dominica are in a state of shock and mourning following the death of Sergeant Terry Royer who was stationed at the Portsmouth Police Station.
Royer was acting inspector at the time of his death. According to the police, he worked as usual and suddenly collapsed at the police station and was rushed to the Portsmouth Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He has been a long-standing member of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force and also served on various Credit Union committees. He is the son of the former Manager of the Vieille Case Credit Union NCCU branch Theresa Royer.
