This exhibition will be held downstairs the Government Headquarters commencing Friday September 20, 2024; and will also be held on the following three (3) consecutive Fridays: September 27, October 4 and October 11, 2024. The exhibition will commence from 9am daily and end at 5:00pm.

This event serves both cultural and economic purposes, aiming to sustain the creole fashion
tradition while supporting our local talent and businesses. The ultimate objectives are to promote a rich cultural heritage through its traditional and modern fashion and support local small businesses by providing a platform for local designers and artisans to showcase their work and reach a broader market.
Exhibits on display and for sale will comprise of display of creole garments like madras fabric attire, and modern creole-inspired designs such as brooches, fascinators, clutches, bags, hats, jewelry and footwear. In addition, on each Friday, we will provide the opportunity for a food vendor to prepare and sell some of our locally made foods including roast breadfruit and codfish, cassava bread/cakes, coconut products and confectionaries to name a few.
