The police have arrested and charged Kuthlyn Clint Rolle on a charge of “incitement to kill.”
Rolle is heard on a social media post making several comments about dealing with the government and how they should be killed.
He appeared before Chief Magistrate Candia Carette George where the charge was read to him. He was not required to enter a plea since the matter is of an indictable nature to be heard before a Judge and jury.
The prosecution did not object to bail and according to the Chief Magistrate, the charge was “very serious” and so she set bail at $EC75,000.00.
Paul Steve Benjamin was accepted as surety on behalf of the accused Rolle. As part of his bail conditions, he is to report every Mondays and Fridays between 7am and 7pm to the Wesley Police station, must not reoffend while on bail, surrender his passport (must not apply for a new passport) and, must inform the police and court of any proposed change of address 72 hours prior.
The matter was adjourned to January 10th, 2025 in Wesley. He is represented by lawyers David Bruney and Ronald Charles.
