The Traffic Department and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) say that they have commenced an investigation into an incident where the lifeless body of Andy Jervier male 44yr old of Kingshill was discovered on the side of the E.O. LeBlanc Highway in Canefield close to a well-known business place.
According to a report from the police, “The body was officially processed and declared deceased by a doctor that very morning and kept at a morgue pending an autopsy”.
“Thus far, the initial investigation into the matter does not suggest or point to a traffic incident or a homicidal death,” a release from the police stated. “However, the investigation into the incident is actively ongoing”.
