The objectives of this project include enabling persons with disabilities to become computer literate and building the capacity of DAPD to deliver training courses in computer skills. This program started this week and will run for three months with six participants and seeks to expose participants to a world of information and the possibility of broadening their horizons and extending their social skills by meeting like-minded people. Also, this program will be ongoing beyond this period to get as many persons with disabilities trained to be computer literate.
DAPD extends sincere gratitude to Dominica SiFoCol Alumni Association, for their belief in the ICT Program’s potential and the impact this project can have on persons with disabilities.
