Police make arrest in two murders and seeking help in solving another

The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) ‘s investigative teams are actively investigating three separate homicides and appealing for public assistance.

According to a release from the police, public help is needed in solving the murder of Karlon Nicholas, a male adult of Grand Bay who was fatally shot at his residence in Grand Bay on the evening of March 2, 2025.

They are also reporting a breakthrough in the murder of Jefferson Skerrit of Bena Ravin, Canefield who was tragically stabbed to death on March 3, 2025. Ethan Serrant male 23 years old of Canefield has been arrested and charged with murder in this matter.

In another incident, the police are reporting the arrest of Brandon Ravaliere, a male adult of Jimmit who has been arrested and formally charged in connection with the murder of Tardius McPherson Winston whose lifeless body was discovered in a Jimmit residential area on February 27, 2025.

Both accused men are expected to be taken before a Magistrate’s Court where the charges will be read to them pending preliminary inquiries into the matter.
