Acting Deputy Police Chief Jeffery James says the Major Crime Unit of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) has intensified investigations into a shooting in Roseau on April 27, 2025, that claimed the life of Kimon Emmanuel and left Shyan Sabroache in critical condition at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital (DCFH).
Deputy Chief (Acting) James disclosed, “Police have arrested six individuals of interest in connection with the incident which occurred in an area known as Washington Block in Roseau on April 27, 2025.”
He continued, “One person remains in police custody, assisting investigators, while other individuals are being actively sought as inquiries continue.”
He also issued an appeal to members of the public to “come forward with any relevant information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.”
