Jervon Henry rearrested and faces more charges

By Ronalda Luke

Just a few days after he was granted bail of $50,000.00, Jervon Henry reappeared in court on May 14, facing two additional charges, removal of goods without permission and evasion of customs duty.

It is alleged that he removed one Samsung Galaxy Note valued at $150.00 from the Millennium Freights Aeropost Facility. He pleaded not guilty to this charge.

On the indictable charge of evasion of customs duty, he was not required to enter a plea, as the matter is expected to be tried at the High Court.

His new attorney, David Bruney, once again presented Toussaint as surety. With no objection from the prosecution, the accused was granted additional bail by Chief Magistrate Candia Carette George for $1,000.00.

The matter was adjourned to August 14, 2025.

As part of his bail conditions for these new charges, Henry is required to report to the Roseau Police Station every Monday.
