With more than 200 nominated artists across multiple genres, this year’s awards continue to demonstrate the strength, diversity, and global potential of Dominica’s music industry. The DMA remains committed to recognizing artistic excellence while guiding the future of Dominican music through structured evaluation, transparency, and public engagement.
Public Voting: 60% of the Final Score
The public vote carries significant weight, representing 60% of the total score. Organizers are urging fans, families, and supporters to cast their final votes before midnight.
“Public participation is a crucial part of the DMA. It ensures that the voice of the people influences the outcome and that our artists feel the full support of their nation,” said the DMA organizing team under Creole Heartbeat.
Judging Round Begins
Following the close of public voting tonight, the submissions will advance to the Judges’ Review Stage, which accounts for the remaining 40% of the final results. A panel of respected industry professionals will evaluate the nominees based on creativity, quality, impact, and overall contribution to Dominica’s musical landscape.
After both scores are combined, the official finalists for the Dominica Music Awards 2025 will be released.
