
The criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Commonwealth of Dominica (CDPF) is said to be actively investigating two homicides, one of which occurred on Friday, 13th March 2026, at Roseau, where Rasaan Griffith, a 32-year-old male of Goodwill/Pottersville, was met
lying motionless on Kings Lane and taken to Dominica China Friendship Hospital for medical attention, and was subsequently pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
According to reports from the police, “initial investigation revealed thus far that he allegedly sustained a single stab wound.” The police have confirmed that “one male individual is being sought by the police in connection with that homicide.”
The police also confirmed that “an investigation is actively going on, which involves the death of Everton Sabin of Bath Estate. “Sabin was found lying on the ground at Elmshall with serious injuries and taken to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital for medical attention, where he later succumbed to his injuries the next day, 15th of March 2026. Donald Michael Dorival, a male adult of Elmshall, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is assisting the police with their investigation into the matter.”
