Division One Football Round up

ACS Potersville Tarish United FC notched up its second victory in as many matches when the action continued last weekend in the Dominica Football Association (DFA) Division One League.

After securing a convincing four goals to nil victory in their first outing, Tarish United FC collected another three points on Sunday at the Stock Farm Sports Complex. In the Group 2 encounter, Derhon Augustine found the back of the net twice while Dillon Alexander scored the other goal in the three goals to nil victory over Island Gemz Jimmit Ballerz FC.

Also on Sunday, LA Enterprises Bombers bounced back from their opening Group 3 defeat as they secured a comfortable four goals to nil victory over BAA Sharks FC at Benjamin Park. Tyriq Joseph scored a brace while there was a goal each for Malley Rabess and Gabriel Raymond.

Meanwhile, Jerran Sebastien scored the lone goal as Bath Estate FC edged out All Saints FC at the Almond Park in Dublanc.

On Saturday, Mahaut Soca Strikers FC picked up their second win in as many games with a one goal to nil victory over Derby Boyz FC. The lone goal is this Group 2 encounter was scored by Mael John in the 68th minute of play at Stock Farm Complex.  

Also on Saturday, at the Castle Bruce Playing Field, WE United FC made a winning start to their season with a convincing six goals to nil win over Wooty Blazers FC. Roosevelt Coipel was in fine form as he converted a hat-trick. Lyan Edwards, Jared Frederick, and Delix St. Hillaire contributed one goal each.

The Group 1 encounter between Denise Charles Pointe Michel FC and Harlem United was called off since only two match officials were present.

On Friday, Central Cooperative Credit Union Dublanc FC hammered Middle Ham United FC by five goals to nil at the Almond Park in a Group 2 encounter. Felix Anselm scored three goals with Savio Anselm and Curtis St. Rose scoring one goal each.

Meanwhile, Calibishie Diaspora FC cruised to five goals to nil victory over Itassi United FC. Tyrese Carbon, Reshard Francois, Jamal Grell, Jonathan Joseph, and Kevin Green converted one goal each in the Group 3 match-up.
