Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A high pressure system is dominant across the area generating breezy conditions. Occasional cloudiness with a few showers are expected during the next 24 to 48 hours. Meanwhile. a tropical wave is expected to mainly affect the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles from Wednesday night into Thursday.
Dust haze will be evident in varying concentrations throughout the next few days. People with respiratory sensitivities should continue to take the necessary precautions to avoid complications.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves down to 8.0ft along the eastern coastline. A Small Craft Advisory is now in effect for above normal seas along the east coast. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should continue to exercise caution.
