The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is investigating a shooting incident in the Canefield community near the Canefield Roman Catholic Church.
Nature Isle News (NIN) understands that the proprietor of a small bar in the area shot a male individual who was found in his house.
The police were called to the crime scene and are investigating the matter have confirmed that the dead is Clinton Austrie originally from Bataca residing in Canefield.
They have also stated that one man is presently in custody assisting them in the investigations of the death of Clinton Austrie.
