Herbal Harmony CEO, Rachel Shillingford, Champions PCOS awareness month with educational campaign

The campaign saw a series of well-coordinated events, which garnered substantial support from local businesses and individuals. Activities included:

  2. Pharmacy Tour: Sister Nats led a tour of the new market, identifying the best foods that help manage PCOS symptoms.
  3. Jolly’s Pharmacy Tour: Attendees were guided through ideal supplements critical for PCOS management.
  4. Cardio Jam: An energetic session underscoring the importance of physical activity in the fight against PCOS.
  5. School Visit: Jolly’s Pharmacy sponsored a visit to an all-girls school, where young students were engaged in discussions about PCOS, increasing their awareness and knowledge of the condition.
  6. Cyster’s Dinner: PCOS friendly dinner with a group of ladies celebrating PCOS awareness month’s success.
    Additionally, a seafood restaurant in southern Dominica offered discounts on meals from Friday through Monday, further supporting the cause.
    The highlight of the month was the launch of Rachel Shillingford’s book, “Thriving with PCOS”. This informative guide helps readers identify different types of PCOS, manage
    the condition effectively, and includes tips on the best foods for PCOS Cysters. The
    book launch was integrated into a well-received PCOS panel discussion. Moderated by
    popular PCOS advocate Trudy Christian, the panel also featured Dr. Natasha Maxine-
    Esprit, an Endocrinologist at Triage Health, offered a 10% discount for September, Pharmacist Leona Jeremiah from Jolly’s Pharmacy, and health and wellness enthusiast Sister Nats.
