The body of James Defoe male 47 years old of Grand Bay, was found hanging from the roof of his home by his sister at about 0930 hrs on Independence Day November 3, 2020.
According to the police, the body was “in an advanced state of decomposition and was identified by her.”
The body was pronounced dead by Dr. Fevrier.
James, the police stated resided in a small wooden building behind the bus stop in the three roads in Grand Bay close to the Pierre Charles Secondary School.
The body has been transported to the morgue where a post mortem examination will be performed. A corona’s inquest touching the death of the deceased will also take place.
