Bath Estate FC and WE United FC complete quarterfinal line up

Marcellus Bonney completed the second hat- trick of the season thus far as he piloted Happi Bath Estate FC to a comprehensive victory over Premier Division newcomers LA Starz FC of La Plaine in the latest round of matches in the Dominica Football Association’s Nation Cup competition.

Bonney’s effort secured a six goals to two win and a spot in the last eight on Sunday at the Stock Farm Complex. The former national youth player got good support from Anderson Lawrence, Anfernee Frederick and Kenico Soanes with one goal each.

LA Starz FC got two late consolation goals from Aldi Volney and Aldrin Graham.

In the other scheduled encounter at Benjamin Park, WE United FC did not burst a sweat as their opponents Busta Warner failed to show up for the 4 pm encounter.

Meanwhile, the following clubs have all qualified for the second round of competition after securing first round victories. The qualifying clubs are, Promex Harlem, Mahaut Soca Strikers FC, Sagicor South East FC, Exodus FC, Petro Caribe Pointe Michel FC, Dublanc FC, WE United FC, and Happi Bath Estate FC.

In the second round of competition, Promex Harlem United will take on Mahaut Soca Strikers FC and South East FC will come up against Exodus FC. The other encounters will feature Petro Caribe Pointe Michel FC against CCCU LTD Dublanc FC, while WE United FC and Happi Bath Estate FC will battle each other.

No date and venue have been announced for the quarterfinal matches.
