A total of 20 players have been named by the Dominica Football Association (DFA) to participate in the 2022 Caribbean Football Union Under 14 Challenge Series. The tournament which is dubbed ‘The Future Starts Now, will take place in the Dominican Republic and will see the national players compete in Group A of Tier 2.
The 20 players selected after some months of preparation are Chance Marshall, Kody James, JeDyan Lockhart, Kenneth Valmond, K’Den Hilton, Diamond Dominique, Shem Theophille, Cliff Simon, Jayan Lockhart, Christiano McDonald, Yannick Vigilant, Neron Abraham, Dwight Eloi, Omari Matthew, Asuru Philbert, Jerquan Hussey, Taran George, Ajay Bellot, Lymaiq Theophille, Nicquan Bellot.
The unit will be under the watchful eye of Egbert Jno Baptiste who will serve as head coach of the team. Orris Mills will travel with the players as the assistant coach. Melvin Angol and Cleavon Vidal will serve as the goalkeeper coach and medics respectively. Delroy Watt is the trainer with Kurt Christmas as the manager.
The squad is expected to depart the island this afternoon.
