Blue Waters Bath Estate FC has made an emphatic start in its quest to capture another DFA title. On Tuesday in their opening encounter of the 2022 DFA President’s Cup, the former Premiere Division champions trounced Calibishie Diasporas by 10 goals to nil at the Stockfarm Sports Complex in a Group A encounter. Jerren Sebastien registered the first hat trick of the competition to date in the one-sided affair. Sebastien got good support from national player Marcellus Bonney who netted two goals. Kenico Soanes found the back of the net twice as well. Anfernee Frederick and Anderson Lawrence scored one goal each. The other goal came via the own goal route.
In the other encounter played last evening at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth, Do It Center Mighty Avengers FC defeated BAA Sharks FC by four goals to nil. Oneil Bedminister scored a brace while there was one goal each for Jairon Meyers and Jomari Peters.
