The First Instance Body of the Dominica Football Association has approved the granting of licenses to a total of 33 clubs to participate in all leagues and competitions organized under the auspices of the DFA for the 2023 football season.
Of the 33 clubs, ten are Premiere Division clubs and 22 are Division One clubs. The New India Goodwill Runners is the lone female club that was granted a license.
In order for a club to be granted a license, the club was expected to meet a number of criteria approved by the local governing body in conjunction with Concacaf.
The Naturescape FC is a newly registered club while Busta Warner FC, Colihaut FC, Marigot United FC, and Wayne George Football Academy are making a comeback to organized competition.

All the license clubs suppose to develop a women’s team. It’s automatic.
