Members of the Dominica Cricket Association (DCA) have elected a new board to govern its affairs. Clement Marcellin withstood a challenge from former first vice President Kevin James to easily beat him for the top post.
In his first public interview after his election to the top job, speaking to Nature Isle News (NIN) in an exclusive interview, Marcellin expressed his “delight” at the faith entrusted in him to lead the organization and vow to represent the “best interest” of cricketers.
“My task is to continue working for the best interest of cricket on the island and ensure that we give effective representation to the players, club, and our country as well,” he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to those who entrusted their faith and confidence in him in leading the organization and vowed to “continue the work which has started”.
