27-year-old Scott Hazel who was wanted by the police has since surrendered through his lawyer and has been arrested for murder.
The police had put out a wanted bulletin for “murder” for the La Plaine resident claiming that he was wanted for the murder at Garage Bar & Grill that occurred on September 23, 2023.
On October 5, 2023, Hazel with his lawyer Julian Prevost accompanied by police officers returned to the Garage Bar & Grill where the shooting took place.
He has since been formally arrested and charged with murder and is expected to make his first court appearance on October 6, 2023.
