The Major Crime Unit of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force had been investigating the murder of Giselle Carbon Michleau female 72 yr old of Toucarie whose body was found bonded to a concrete block with her hands tied at the sea bed in Toucarie on the 14th of November 2024. A few suspects were taken into custody during the investigation and after an intense investigation into the matter,
Paul Vital male adult of Toucarie has been charged with the murder of the deceased. He appeared before a Portsmouth Magistrate where the charge of murder was read to him.
Since murder is a capital offense he was not required to enter a plea and has since been remanded at the State’s Prison in Stock Farm pending a preliminary inquiry.
The matter was adjourned to a later date.
