The Government of Dominica is pleased to announce the signing of a contract worth $2.34 million for the upgrade of the Mahaut Health Centre. This significant investment will enhance healthcare services in the community, providing residents with improved access to quality medical care.
The project will include renovations and expansions to the existing facility, incorporating modern medical equipment and technology. The upgraded health centre will offer a broader range of services, including primary care, maternal and child health, and chronic disease management.
“This investment in our healthcare infrastructure demonstrates our government’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of our citizens,” said Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit. “The Mahaut Health Centre upgrade will have a positive impact on the community, and we look forward to seeing the benefits it will bring to residents.”
The project is expected to be completed within the next 12 months, with construction work expected to create employment opportunities for residents.
