Two females (mother and daughter) from the community of Mahaut were arrested on August 20, 2026, at the Woodbridge Bay Port in Fond Cole on suspicion of importation of a quantity of 9mm ammunition and two 9mm magazines.
They are presently in police custody as investigations in the matter continue.
Meanwhile, an autopsy has been conducted on the remains found at Capuchin, believed to be that of 16-year-old Jerbiah Paul.
The autopsy was conducted by a Canadian forensic pathologist. The police will now await the results of the autopsy as to the cause of death. DNA analysis will also be performed at a forensic laboratory overseas for identification purposes.
