A Grand Bay man has appeared before a Roseau Magistrate charged with the death of Donaldson Alcendor on December 26, 2020, Boxing Day.
According to Police, a shooting incident that took place in the Southern community of Grand-Bay on December 26, 2020, Boxing Day resulted in the death of Alcendor.
Alcendor was shot in the abdomen and succumbed to his injuries later.
On December 31, 2020, Dickson Charles who was arrested and charged for the murder of Alcendor appeared in court where the charge was read to him.
He was not required to enter a plea since the charge of murder is a capital offense and was remanded at the Stock Farm Prison.
The preliminary inquiry into the matter is set for March 29, 2021.
