The family, friends, and well wishes did not allow the COVID-19 pandemic to stop them from paying final respects to the man dubbed “the Father of the Nation” Patrick Roland John.
Many gathered on the streets as the body was driven to its final resting place at the Anglican Church Burial grounds.
As the casket was being lowered amidst the gun salute, many could be heard saying “PJ was a good man,” “long live PJ”, “We love you PJ,” “rest in peace PJ.”
