Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from 6:00 AM on Friday, October 29, 2021
A high-pressure system is expected to continue to be dominant across the area during the next 24 hours resulting in relatively dry conditions. Occasional cloudiness and a few showers can be expected across parts of the island, mainly during the cooler overnight to early morning period. Weak instability is projected by Saturday resulting in an increased chance for showers across the area.
Dust haze is projected to linger into Saturday resulting in a reduction in visibility and air quality. An improvement is expected thereafter. People with respiratory sensitivities are advised to continue to take the necessary precautions.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with wave heights up to 5.0ft. An increase in swells is forecast along the eastern coast tomorrow.
