The community of Newtown and Kings Hill has been plunged into mourning following the death of Ken Joseph of Kings Hill.
According to reports from the police, Joseph was the driver of a motorcycle with Salim Khalid Green as the pillion rider on the evening of Saturday, December 6, 2025, on the La Lay Coca public road in the vicinity of Ocean Edge Oasis Hotel.
Reports are that the motorcycle collided with a Subaru XV, causing the accident. The name of the driver of the vehicle was not disclosed by the police.
Joseph and Green were taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH), where Joseph was pronounced dead by a medical doctor. Green remains in critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
