The police say that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning of two Chinese nationals that took place on the evening of June 1, 2024.
According to police, the bodies of the two were fished out of the water at Palm Tree in Wesley by members of the Fire & Ambulance Services.
Reports are that the two husband and wife had gone in search of “conch and crab” when tragedy struck.
They were then pronounced dead by a medical doctor shortly thereafter.
Investigations are ongoing into the matter.
