The police are investigating a fatal road traffic accident in the Jimmit area, where a concrete truck is said to have gone down a precipice, resulting in the death of the driver.
According to the police, 41-year-old Haitian national Sonel Louis Jeune, residing at Massacre, became Dominica’s 9th road fatality on September 25, 2025, when the concrete truck he was driving plunged into a precipice.
The body was recovered by members of the Fire & Ambulance Services and was pronounced dead by a medical doctor at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital (DCFH).
