He was the saviour of many people heading to work in the morning, ensuring his hot and tasty Wa-pap was ready for those heading to work.

Cladded in his white apron and smile, he would serve his customer’s daily rain or sun…but that is no more. Known to many as “the Wa-pap man” Sherman Julian died in a road traffic accident on June 17, 2023, when a rental vehicle that he was driving, hit a road on the E.O. Leblanc High Way near Morne Anglais. He was transported to the Reginald Fitzgerald Armour Hospital in Portsmouth and was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
The police are continuing investigations into the matter. In other police news over the weekend, the body of a two-year-old boy was fished out of the family pool on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Nature Isle News (NIN) extends its deepest condolences to the families of both individuals.
