Frontline Extension Teams are now better equipped to visit farmers and clients at the Regional level with the supply of three new vehicles as part of the support from the Emergency Agricultural Livelihoods and Climate Resilience Project(EALCRP) being funded by the World Bank.
Two 4×4 Mitsubishi five-seater vans and one two-door Suzuki Jimny valued at EC$405,000.00 were handed over to the Division of Agriculture and will be stationed permanently within the Agricultural Regions for field visits and other farmer-related activities whether for regular farm wellness checks, or the introduction of new technology through the supply of equipment and planting materials.
Tangible investment in agriculture. Great going.
