The Dominica Geothermal Development Company (DGDC) wishes to inform residents of Trafalgar, Wotten Waven, and the general public that the Trafalgar main road will be closed to vehicular traffic from the Lily Valley entrance to the Trafalgar Resource Center from:
8:00 am Thursday, October 16, to 6:00 pm Sunday, October 19: Vehicular access to Upper Trafalgar Village and Trafalgar Falls will be through the Morne Prosper/Wotten Waven route.
This closure is necessary to facilitate the construction of the New Electricity Transmission Network, which is being executed by Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL).
Pedestrian access will be maintained, with safe passage provided through the work zone.
