Dominica is set to ignite Mas Domnik 2025 with the official Opening and National Parade on Saturday, January 18, at 3:00 PM. Floats and bands will assemble on the E.O. LeBlanc Highway between the Public Works Department and Steber Street. From the assembly point, the parade will proceed as follows:
- Southward along the E.O. LeBlanc Highway
- Southward along Goodwill Road onto Independence Street
- Southward along Independence Street
- Westward along King George V Street
- Northward along Dame Eugenia Charles Boulevard
- Eastward along Kennedy Avenue onto the Windsor Park Sports Stadium. The public is invited to gather at the Bayfront from 4:30 PM to witness Her Worship, Sandra Ermine Royer, Mayor of Roseau, ceremonially hand over the city’s key to Gerard Cools-Lartigue, Chairman of the Dominica Festivals Committee. Attendees will enjoy performances by
costume bands and groups and a heartfelt tribute to the late Frankie “Krazy-T” Bellot.
As the evening unfolds, the celebration will shift to the Windsor Park Sports Stadium Forecourt for an after-party featuring performances by Triple K, Likkle Man, Delly, Nayee, Quan, and DJ Taffy. The after-party will begin at 7:30 PM, with admission priced at $15.
The parade will be streamed live on Vibean TV, DBS Radio, GIS, Kairi FM, Dominica Festivals, the Ministry of Tourism, and Emonews’ Facebook pages.
