Super Dice makes it ten times

Dennison “Dice” Joseph enters the history books in Dominica as he claims his tenth calypso crown in Dominica.

Hundreds braved the weather and armed with umbrellas witness history being created by Dice who all expected (barring calypso suicide) to make it ten.

The talk was 10-10-10 meaning he was singing at number 10, the calypso finals were being held on February 10 and he would win his tenth calypso crown. Dince did not disappoint and despite fierce competition from the resigning monarch Trilla G who sang at number 9 and placed first runners up followed by Shanice and Joy Dice was dominated and clinical in both rounds.

He opened up with his popular rendition “Wanted” to end the first round to thunderous applause from the calypso fans. He then crowned it up and put the icing on the cake with “bring money.”

From there, calypso fans were in no doubt that Dice was going to roll the Dice ten times.
