This pivotal conference will be the source of all crucial details about the carnival season, including the schedule of events, information on the opening of the carnival, and measures to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience for all attendees.
The press conference is set to take place on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Old Mill Cultural Center. This event will feature speakers such as the Honourable Denise Charles-Pemberton, Minister for Tourism; Colin Piper, CEO of Discover Dominica Authority; Charlene White-Christian, Carnival Road Parade Coordinator; and various Carnival event organizers. Together, they will unveil the exciting plans for this year’s Carnival, with a particular focus on the opening of the carnival slated for Saturday, January 6, 2024.
