Belfast resident Jerron Sebastian appeared before Chief Magistrate Candia Carette George on May 6, 2025, where two charges of conspiracy to murder, one charge of attempted murder, a charge of murder, and a charge of possession of cocaine with intent to supply were read to him.
Represented by lawyer Dawn Yearwood Stewart, he elected for a summary trial on the charge of possession of 3.4 grams of crack cocaine and pleaded “not guilty.” As a result, that matter was adjourned to June 17 in St. Joseph.
The prosecution is also alleging that between January 1, 2025, and April 28, 2025, he conspired with others to murder Iman Kimon Benjamin Emmanuel and Shayan Sabroache. He was not required to enter a plea since these are indictable matters to be tried before a Judge and Jury at the High Court.
He is also charged with the attempted murder of Shayan Sabroache and the murder of Kimon Emmanuel in Roseau.
That matter was adjourned to 11 August in Roseau. Disclosure to be made on or before 11 July 2025.
Sebastain is now an inmate at the Dominica State’s Prison pending the preliminary inquiry into the matters.
