Brian Linton the brother of former United Workers Party (UWP) leader Lennox Linton is waging war against the outgoing President of the party Isaac Baptiste and Dr. Thomson Fontaine former UWP Senator who is said to be the “front runner for the leadership of the party.
Linton (Brian) is accusing Dr. Fontaine of “not wanting his brother former leader Lennox to be the president of the party and also former Prime Minister Edison James as “trustee.”

He is warning that such an attitude towards “the Marigot people will not work.” In another clip, Linton (Brian) is questioning the integrity and loyalty of Isaac Baptiste the former UWP senator and outgoing, party president.

The party is said to be “in turmoil and disarray by many” and will hold its delegates conference on November 27, 2022, and will not be contesting the December 6, 2022, General Elections in Dominica called by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit just three years in his five-year term because of what they say is “unfair because of the lack of electoral reform.”
I don’t know what’s going on internally with UWP, but Brian Linton has always been an angry man who’s utterances and behavior chase people away!!! His actions at the protest during the 2019 elections towards some religious people were terrible, to say the least!!

For $500,000 to replace the cathedral church roof, the bishop refused to address the atrocities against Dominicans handed down by Skerrit and his rogue government.
I do not always agree with what Brian says, however, he is entitled to his own opinions.
We do not have to accept, but we have to respect it.

There goes the biggest problem with the UWP. The “Marigot Faction” wanting to retain control of the party.
It’s been generally believed that Marigot is a UWP stronghold. But that is only on the premise that Marigot was in charge.
People can deny it all they want to. But as it is said, “it will all come out in the wash.”.
