The government gives “all clear from” 11 am

The government of Dominica has given the “all clear” for business to resume in Dominica from 11 a.m. today after the passage of Hurricane Tammy.

On his Facebook page Prime Minister of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit had this to say, “Please be informed that as of 11 am this morning the Hurricane Watch and the Tropical Storm warning will be discontinued for Dominica.”

The All Clear will be in effect from 11 a.m., and normal activities can resume. We thank the Almighty for his mercies. May God continue to bless us all.”

Meantime, the government has warned that a “flood warning may be issued later this evening” as the country expects heavy rains due to the passage of Hurricane Tammy.

That was a message from Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.
