Police are investigating a shooting in Scotts-Head on Monday, September 7, 2020, resulting in the death of one man.
According to a police release, at about 8 pm the deceased Dillon Alexander was “sitting amongst friends at Marginy in Scotts Head when a lone masked individual walked up to him and shot him multiple times in his torso.”
“He fell to the ground and was officially pronounced dead on the scene by the District Medical Doctor…his body was transported to the Gentle Rest Funeral Home where a post mortem examination is scheduled.”
According to an eye witness, “He was shot several times and fell to the ground…people ran for safety,” the source stated.
This brings to 12 the number of murders so far for 2020. Just over a week ago another young man was fatally stabbed to death in Roseau by an 18-year-old boy.
He has since been arrested and charged for murder and is presently on remand at the Stock Farm Prison.
