Dominican-born Darwin Telemacque who is the General Manager of the Antigua & Barbuda Port Authority has successfully retained the Chairmanship of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC).
He retained his post at the association’s Annual General Meeting held at Antigua’s Royalton Resort over the weekend.
Telemacque expressed his delight at being reelected to the top post and says it’s “a significant achievement for Antigua & Barbuda.”
PMAC membership consists of 21 ports within 21 Caribbean territories as well as several Regional and International Associate Member Companies.
According to PMAC, these territories are competent providers of a “wide range of maritime industry services, most with an established record of operating within the Caribbean.”
