The Caribbean Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (CARAIFA) is an umbrella organization of the regional Life Underwriting Association whose members are engaged primarily in the sale of the products of Life Insurance and Financial Services companies.
Hugh Meredith the President of CARAIFA and members of his executive visited Dominica over the weekend of November 17-18, 2023 as they planned for the Annual Sales Congress of CARAIFA to be held in Dominica from April 29 to May 2, 2024, at the Inter-Continental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa in Portsmouth.
Speaking to the media, Cheryl Rolle an executive member of the Dominica branch who will be handling the Congress 2024 under the theme “Your protection our mission,” said they are looking to have over 250 participants at that congress.
“At the Congress, we will highlight our charitable arm, the CARAIFA Foundation, buy way on making a grant to an individual suffering from kidney disease to assist with medical expenses,” she said.
She has also issued a call for stakeholders in Dominica to join forces to make this event a “memorable one.”
