As part of its 40th Anniversary celebrations, the Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities (DAPD) will hold an Awards and Appreciation Ceremony on Thursday 26th October 2023.
At that ceremony, forty (40) organizations, institutions, and individuals will be recognized for their tangible and sustained support of the Association over a number of years. The event will be held under the theme” Celebrating Forty Years of Resilient Advocacy”.
The Keynote Speaker at the function will be the Executive Director of the St. Lucia Blind Welfare Association, Anthony Avril, OBE. There will also be addresses from Government Officials.
A 40th Anniversary Commemorative magazine will also be launched.
